Ahh, ‘clings to coffee cup,‘ dishes done, son  out with friends, I sit down in the sun with my drink and then BAM! I remember he has revision for a Spanish exam, no wonder he rushed out the door. Today starts the Summer term and quite soon our Primary school newsletter will state the date for Sports day. The children love sports day and look forward to finding out which teacher is their team leader. Parents and grandparents come to watch the fun, and that’s what it should be, a fun day. Having a baby at 40 was definitely a shock to my system, but the 45 year old husband took it all in his stride, he wasn’t a first time parent like me and it definitely showed. National Walk to school week is upon us again. We all know walking is the best way to get to school, but in the morning rush especially if you’re a working parent, do you have time to walk? Once again the news is highlighting  parking outside schools, more fines have been issued than ever before as parents are parking on the zigzags & double yellow lines in an effort to drop their kids off  as close to school as possible.  In fact the fines have doubled to over 28,000 since 2011.
