Dying Matters Did you know this week is Dying Matters Awareness week?  This campaign aims to provide the opportunity to talk about dying, death, bereavement, and making plans for the end of life. This year’s theme is ‘The Big Conversation’. My husband was at a funeral, the funeral of his ex-wife from 30 years ago. It was a very sad day for us all due to the complicated family ties that still bind us together. 10 years after they divorced their 17 year old daughter died in a road accident, that was over 20 years ago and the six week old son she left behind is now 21.
