A Mothers Day

I think this is a mothers day…

When you’re screeching at your kids, ‘cos they’re all running mad,

then you see them fast asleep,  and you feel really bad.

when you rush out in the morning,  late on the school run.

and you bump into that gorgeous slinky, shiny, yummy mum,

you’ve got to do the washing, cleaning, cooking  for them all,

you’re a teacher, nurse, a playmate,  at their beck and call,

It gets really hard,  but you know its what mums do,

we hold it all together,  ‘cos we’re the family glue.

Yes! That is a mother’s day. And the slinky shiny yummy mum prob shouts at her kids just as much when she is indoors.

🙂 I brushed my hair this morning and realised that was the first time in 36 hours I’d done that…

I love knowing that most things that happen in a mums day someone has been there before you. Never alone.x

Thank you Victoria, besides writing poems for my friends I never thought anyone else would ever see them. You’ve opened up a whole new world. x
